Build Quality and Design

Not only is the Vinci 3 a bit of a behemoth when it comes to its dimensions, but it also packs quite a punch in terms of weight. With a full pod, it weighs in at a solid 101g, which you’ll certainly feel when you pick it up or carry it in your pocket. That being said, the device’s weight adds to its sturdy feel, which is a definite plus.

During the course of this review, I’ve been using the Carbon Fiber Black version of the Vinci 3 and I have to say, it looks pretty slick. The zinc-alloy frame has a matte finish and the front and back panels have carbon fiber-like designs. Voopoo claims that these panels are “optical coating decorative sheets” rather than actual carbon fiber, but they definitely look the part.

The Vinci 3 is a pod vape that’s situated between the larger Vinci 2 pod mod and the smaller Vinci Pod SE. While it’s still quite portable, it’s definitely on the chunkier side of things, measuring in at 101.3mm in height, 30.5mm in width, and 21.6mm in thickness. The size and shape of the Vinci 3 put it in the same league as some of SMOK’s recent Nord devices, so it’s not exactly groundbreaking in terms of form factor.

One of the standout features of the Vinci 3 is the large rectangular e-juice viewing windows on either side of the device. These windows take up nearly the entire width of the device and provide a clear view of the e-juice level in the pod. The bottom of the pod sits flush with the bottom of the window, making it easy to check your e-juice level at a glance. This is a simple yet effective design choice that makes a big difference in terms of usability.

Despite taking the device in and out of my pocket and knocking it around on my desk, the Vinci 3 still looks as good as new. There are no scratches or scuffs on the panels and the matte finish on the frame remains in pristine condition.

The Voopoo Vinci 3 Kit is a chunky pod vape that features large rectangular e-juice viewing windows, a sturdy feel, and carbon fiber-like designs on its zinc-alloy frame. Despite its weight and size, the device is portable and its design features add to its usability and aesthetics.

At First Glance

When it comes to packaging, Voopoo does not disappoint with the Vinci 3 Kit. The device is presented in a slick and chic packaging that is sure to make a great first impression. The kit is available in five different colors, each with their own unique style and flair, including Carbon Fibre Black, Aurora Red, Carbon Fibre Blue, Aurora Blue, and Rose Gold. These colors are vibrant and striking, making the Vinci 3 an attention-grabbing device.

One of the standout features of the Vinci 3 Kit is its build quality. The device feels solid and well-constructed, with a zinc alloy frame that provides both durability and a sleek appearance. The soft-touch finish adds to the comfortable feel of the device, making it easy to hold and use for extended periods. The overall design of the device is modern and stylish, with a sleek and curvy appearance that is sure to turn heads. The combination of high-quality materials and a striking design make the Vinci 3 a top-tier device in its class.

Performance

The Voopoo Vinci 3 Kit provides a powerful vaping experience with its included coils. The 0.6Ω coil offers a great DL draw with good flavor, while the 0.3Ω coil is best for freebase nicotine ejuices and delivers great flavor and large clouds.

When using the 0.6Ω coil, it’s recommended to set the airflow for a DL or RDL draw to avoid harsh MTL draws. The draw activation is also finicky with anything but the tightest airflow setting, but the 0.3Ω coil works better in this regard. There was some leaking with 60VG ejuices, but this was not an issue with 80VG freebase ejuices. The 0.3Ω coil provides a very airy draw, but enhancing the flavor is possible by adjusting the airflow a little more restricted than midway. It works best with freebase nicotine ejuices and 6mg ejuices vape perfectly with this coil.

The Voopoo Vinci 3 Kit has impressive packaging and build quality with its sleek and chic presentation and solid, well-constructed design. It offers a powerful vaping experience with its included coils, with the 0.6Ω coil delivering a great DL draw and the 0.3Ω coil being best for freebase nicotine ejuices.

Battery Life

I was pleasantly surprised by the Vinci 3’s long-lasting performance, thanks to its massive 1800mAh built-in battery. Despite its bulky size, the device delivers an impressive few hundred puffs per charge, easily lasting for two days of heavy vaping. The Type-C charging port on the side of the device allows for convenient charging while standing up, taking only about 50 minutes for a full charge.

In my experience, the Vinci 3’s battery life was excellent, and the Gene chipset drew minimal power and slept quickly. At 35 watts, I was able to vape for a whole day and most of an evening, while at 20 watts, I got close to two full days. Plus, the device supports passthrough charging, allowing me to continue vaping while the device was charging. Overall, the Vinci 3’s impressive battery life and convenient charging make it a top choice for vapers on the go.

  • Clear and convenient ejuice viewing windows
  • Wide range of airflow possibilities
  • Great flavor for DL vaping
  • Large 4ml pod capacity
  • Long-lasting battery with quick charging times
  • Handy locking feature with auto-wattage and auto-draw
  • Vast range of PnP coil compatibility and availability
  • Classy high-end styling with a rubber base

Cons

  • Bulky and heavy design
  • Fire button is overly sensitive

Conclusion

The smart mode simplifies the device for beginners, while the adjustable airflow system permits users to customize airflow. The 4ml pod tank is easy to refill and clean, and the long-lasting 1800mAh battery with pass-through charging ensures extended periods of vaping without worrying about battery life. Though the pod tank isn’t as durable as other tanks on the market, it is a minor concern relative to the device’s numerous benefits. The lack of temperature control mode may discourage advanced users, but most vapers will find it to be an excellent option.

The Voopoo Vinci 3 Mod Pod is a solid and stylish option for vapers seeking adjustability and compatibility with different coils. Although the resistance and e-liquid range may not suit everyone, it remains a reliable and attractive choice worth considering. With its Gene AI chipset, the Vinci 3 offers superior performance and safety features, along with variable wattage control that enables users to adjust power output according to their preferences.
